Being alone has two contrasting sides; one is loneliness and the other is solitude. Pragmatically the first one carries negativity into your mind and body, the later transforms you into a whole new harmonious person both physically and mentally.

In the loneliness; our minds don’t remain aloof from negative thoughts like dissatisfaction with ourselves or with others, often jealous and offended feeling, visualizing only the catastrophic side even about the trifle matters and the litany goes on. There are some symptoms of falling into the prey of loneliness, such as you utterly dislike gathering, almost hate any companion, intense urge to stay within four walls for 24\7, getting irritated by light and eventually you begin to hate yourself. Do you think somebody is going to pull you out from those bitter situations? Absolutely not because you have created the wall of loneliness around you with only one in and out door and you locked the door from inside; the door isn’t locked from outside so the key is in your hand. Now think for a minute; when are you going to use the key to open the door?

There is this saying by prolific American inventor Thomas Alva Edison, “The best thinking has been done in solitude. The worst has been done in turmoil.” This is one of the best truths behind the great achievements of those who used the fruitful side of solitude. This scenario is about embracing the state of being alone in all positive ways. Now the fact is_ everything comes at a cost so do solitude and the best cost to be master of solitude is meditation. Everyday meditation will train your sub-conscious in magical way that life’s regular tingling matters won’t bother you anymore. Eventually you will find peace within and that peace will lead you to the ingenious version of you. Soon creativity will become your good company in lonely hours.
